Golf: Advice On Golf Training Aid Products.

There are many different types of golf swing faults and golf training aids can go a long way in helping any golfer deal with their specific problem area.

The golf swing is the essence of the golf game and therefore it would not be a bad idea to get even two golf training aids that are specific to your swing fault.

The golf training aid that I have found to be very effective is the weighted club. This is a very golf-specific golf training aid as you go through the exact same motions you do with an ordinary club but with more weight. This greatly helps in strengthening and conditioning all the relevant muscles.

The inside approach is another great golf training aid to help improve any golf swing. This particular device is extremely useful for slicers and helps deal with this problem fairly quickly.

Another golf training aid is exercise tubing, which is very affordable and yet very effective. The strength of this device is in its’ ability to break down the golf swing into as many different phases as you would like to focus on for the sake of improvements. It offers specific resistance training for each phase.

A stability ball is a golf training aid than any golfer with a bad back should have. There are almost countless different stretch exercises that you can with it. And what makes this golf training aid even more attractive is the fact that you can do your exercises in the office or at home when you have a moment.

A simple p[air of dumbbells can be a golf training aid that is very useful to any golfer. They are usually very portable and there are many exercises that can be done with hand weights.

Use of a golf training aids all boils down to the golfer knowing exactly what they are doing when using it.

Orlando's award-winning pro shops can outfit you - from rental clubs to the latest golf fashions. Here are a small selection of courses; Hawks Landing Golf Club Par: 72 6,810 Yards Robert E. Cupp. Jr. redesigned Joe Lee's original layout at the Orland World Center Marriott into the exquisite course now known as Hawk's Landing. At 6810 yards from the back tees, the course was stretched out another 500+ yards to meet championship length standards, while featuring large Tifdwarf Bermuda greens, water on 15 holes (including the entire back nine) and gently undulating fairways. The demanding 18th, a 565 yard par 5, has quickly become the signature of the course. The golf staff at Hawk's Landing has been consistently recognized for exemplary customer service. Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club - Par: 72 7,227 Yards A truly unique layout, this award-winning course has been ranked among the Top 100 Courses in America by Golfweek and awarded four stars by Golf Digest. Steve Smyer's design features imaginative bunkering and large sandy scrub areas that line dramatically rolling fairways. Unusual for Central Florida, the course has elevation changes of up to 100 feet and a series of huge dunes that give it even more character.

Best of all, the Tidfward Bermuda greens are large, true and fast. This first-class club has added a great new golf shop. Orange County National: Panther Lake - Par: 72 7,295 Yards Panther Lake, voted Golf Magazine's Top 10 You Can Play in the United States in March 1998 and more recently awarded 4 Stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play" for 2000, was designed to showcase the native beauty of the Florida landscape. This 7,295 yard masterpiece is the first course ever to feature 18 signature holes, incorporating rolling hills, including 60-foot elevation changes, as it winds through natural oak hammocks, pine forests, scenic wetlands and glistening freshwater lakes. In addition to its natural beauty, Panther Lake offers numerous strategic options in its design, thus allowing all players to be fairly challenged. Orange County National: Crooked Cat - Par: 72 7,277 Yards Joining Panther Lake is her sister course, Crooked Cat. Also recently awarded 4 Stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play" for 2000, this 7,277 yard course has a distinct links flavor in its open, flowing design.

This course features few trees, wide terraced fairways and native redtop heather grass in the rough giving it a Scottish feel. Although a slightly different breed from Panther Lakes, this course is just as dangerous and beautiful. Another must play while in Orlando! Golden Bear Club - Par: 72 7,173 Yards This Jack Nicklaus Signature course opened in July 1999 and has quickly proven that it belongs in the prestigious golfing community of Windermere. Not far from Walt Disney World, the course is located within the beautiful Keene's Point development and is bordered by numerous lakes and majestic oaks. The layout will test your mettle, challenge your skills and reward your prowess. The club also features a luxurious clubhouse facility offering great views of the finishing holes. Whatever your level of skill, if you are a beginner or an experienced golfer, Orlando has a course to suit your needs.

golf: Fix a Golf Swing - Improve Your Golf Game Within Days With This Famous Analysis Tool.

How to Fix a Golf Swing - First you need to figure out what is wrong.

And there is one surefire way to do that..your ball flight and shot pattern. The flight of your ball and the almost certain consistency of your bad shot will tell you all you need to know about what needs to be fixed in your swing.

1. Analyze your shot pattern

What is your bad shot? What is your problem? And there is one thing certain..your bad shot is consistent. You know what it is because you play with it every time your tee it up.

So whether it is a slice, hook, pop up, pull, block, you name it..you will see a pattern and the flight of the ball will tell you what part of your swing needs to be addressed.

2. Study Ball flight

Your ball flight will tell you all you need to know. It is like the DNA of your swing or similar to carrying out an autopsy. The flight and trajectory of your ball is a function of what went on before so to really understand what is wrong with your swing, you need to study your ball flight.

Because the ball does not lie..hell, as you know, it doesn't even care. And the ball does not know what went on before in your swing. The ball only knows what happens at impact.

But what leads up to impact is what you need to address in your swing to eradicate in your swing. But to truly know what went on at impact..look at your ball flight and shot pattern.

3. How to fix golf swing

Do the opposite of what you are currently doing until your ball flight changes its pattern..which will reflect the changing pattern of your swing.

For example, if you are like 80% of amateur golfers who play with a fade/slice, you will need to change your swing until you are producing a draw.

golf: Ladies Golf Attire.

Once upon a time, women were not allowed to golf at all. Most clubs restricted women, along with other groups of potential golfers. Once women were allowed the right to pursue golf as a hobby, and yes, even as a career, the outfits that they were expected to wear was restrictive, uncomfortable and honestly, God awful ugly. Stiff material, overly long skirts and blouses that went right up to the chin made a woman's swing short, choppy and of little use to her. Once she broke out of the prison of her horrible clothing, women golfers proved that they could swing just as well and nearly as far as the average man.

Although some clubs still carry some restrictions on clothing, for both their male and female golfers, most have greatly relaxed the rules. Before heading out to the links, check for such rules in order to save yourself a world of embarrassment later. For those with such restrictions, women are expected to wear golf skirts and the required blouse. For less restrictive golf courses, comfort and ease of movement should be your first consideration, especially in the blazing heat of summer. Aim to wear clothing that will reflect as much of the sun as possible, while allowing for sweat evaporation at the same time.

Don't rush out to spend a fortune on golf attire, especially if you only play once a month or so. Spend that money on lessons, driving range time and decent clubs. For attire, think fit, comfort and budget. If you can afford a little extra, then do consider some of the pretreated clothing that will protect you from not only the sun's most damaging rays but biting insects as well. Otherwise, clean, decent, well fitting clothing is fine for your average course. Before heading out to the links, make sure that you take a few practice swings to make sure that no part of your outfit will impede or alter your regular swing.

Make sure that you know what type of shoes are required or recommended on your course of choice. Do you need cleats? On certain courses, especially those with hilly or uneven terrain, cleats may be a better choice than any other type of footwear. Make sure that the shoes that you wear, whether they have cleats or not, are well fitted and comfortable. Even if you employ a golf cart, there is still a lot of walking to be done on a golf course, and this can become a miserable experience with ill-fitting footwear.

Golf: Ways to improve golf swing technique.

There are many ways to improve golf swing accuracy and etiquette by practicing some simple drills. The best drill to practice to improve golf sing is to stroke the all, rather than hitting it. In other words, you should try to practice swinging towards the target, but letting the ball get in your way. There are many ways that a person can improve golf swing etiquette. All it takes is a little bit of practice.

If you think about hitting the ball too much, often times you will not follow through in the swing, stopping the club once it hits the ball. However, if you let the ball get hit because it was sitting there in the way of your swing, not because you were swinging at it, you are sure to not only improve golf swing accuracy, but you will also be able to improve your overall game.
This drill shows why many people have better practice swings than actual swings where a ball is involved. Without a ball it is easier to swing through, yet this is the very motion that is needed when perfecting your swing.

A key in helping to correct this tendency to stop your swing is to learn how to separate the optical eye from the 'mind's eye'. The optical eye sees where the ball is sitting, while the mind's eye sees the ball sailing toward its target. Remember, the ball is not the target, so the key is to avoid being tricked by your optical eye. If you focus on the opposite, you will improve golf swing technique much quicker. That being said, let your mind's eye swing to your target, which is the fairway or the green. This is not to say that you don't look at the ball at all, but rather to stress that there is a great difference between looking at the ball and concentrating on it.
